We are excited to now offer a stunning soil product that will revolutionise your growing experience. Combined with your kitset garden we now offer Coco Blocks. These 5KG blocks expand using water into 50 litres of soil. Coir (coco peat) is a natural, sustainable product made from Coconut husks.
If you are ordering a kitset garden, you can simply "ADD SOIL" to your purchase. This calculates exactly what you need for the ordered kitset. Too Easy! Otherwise you can order it seperately here in 0.5 or 1 m3 pallets ( 10 or 20 blocks). This expands to around 500 or 1000 litres of soil.
Examples -
- 2/1/280 Raised Bed - 10 Blocks or 0.5m3
- 1/1/280 Raised Bed - 5 Blocks
- 2/1/420 Raised Bed - 0.84 m3 (order 1m3 minimum)
- 2/1/560 Rasied Bed - 1.12 (order 1m3)
Freight is Included for most destinations. A small additional charge will be applied at checkout depending on your location. - Prices are different for North Island and South Island delivery. Please select your choice of 1 cubic metre or 0.5 cubic metres. If you would like more, please adjust the quantity. (e.g 1 cubic metre qty x 3 equals 3m3).

Coco Blocks SOIL - Just Add Water - Each Block Makes 50-60L
Coir (coco peat) is a natural, sustainable product made from Coconut husks. It is generally used to replace peat & pumice in bark or compost based potting mixes.
60:40 Coir pith/Coir chip blend. This is ideal for topping up garden beds, vege gardens & planting plants. It can also be used as a complete potting mix with fertilisers added.

MacDirect work with our supplier to have this shipped directly. This product will be sent as close to the time we send your garden kitset. Once your garden is ready to ship, then we action your soil to be sent around the same time. Fingers crossed it all arrive pretty close together.
Please note that you may have to collect your blocks from the freight depot due to limited on-forwarding options for large consignments.
Your soil comes on a pallet that can be opened and seperated and stacked easily onto a trailer or into the back of a vehicle. Each block is around 30cm/30cm by 10cm - Yup, that makes 50 Litres of soil.
